1. Introduction
This Cookie Notice explains how Medcopywriter Limited ("we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit www.medcopywriter.com, and how you can control them. Please read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in a comparable way by saving small pieces of information on your device. In this notice, "cookies" covers both.
3. Your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. You can accept all, reject everything that is not strictly necessary, or choose by category. Rejecting does not stop you using the site. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom left of every page, or here: change your cookie settings. We will ask again after six months. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection of non-essential cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
4. Strictly necessary (always on)
These are needed for the site to work, so they do not need your consent.
- Your cookie choice (Medcopywriter): saves your preferences in your browser's local storage under "mcw-consent" for six months.
- Contact form protection (Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile): checks that messages sent through our contact form come from a person rather than a bot. To do this, these services may set cookies or read information about your device. See the Google Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
5. Anonymous analytics (on unless you switch it off)
- Plausible Analytics: counts page visits so we can see which pages are useful. Plausible does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device and does not collect personal data, and you are not tracked across other websites. You can switch it off in cookie settings. 6. Functional (only with your consent)
- Voice-chat assistant (ElevenLabs): lets you talk to or message our AI assistant. Once loaded, ElevenLabs and its service providers may store information in your browser, and anything you choose to say or type is processed by ElevenLabs. See the ElevenLabs Privacy Policy.
- Website Carbon badge (Website Carbon Calculator): shows the estimated carbon footprint of each page. It saves the result in your browser's local storage (entries beginning "wcb_") so it does not need to recalculate on every visit.
7. Other third-party content
Our pages use fonts from Google Fonts. These do not set cookies, but your device's IP address is sent to Google so the fonts can be delivered.
8. Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when the cookies we use change and revise the date at the top. Where a change affects your choices, we will ask for your consent again.
